I år saknades många stora namn som exempelvis Petter jr. Northug, Marcus Hellner, Justyna Kowalczyk och Marit Björgen. 
 
Men trots detta så kunde man hitta namn som Charlotte Kalla, Magdalena Pajala, Theodor Peterson, Tobias Angerer ,Katja Visnar, Denise Herrmann, Lauren van der Graff, Ola Vigen Hattestad, Niklas Dyrhaug och Thomas Northug i deltagarlistan.
 
På damsidan blev det svensk seger då Magdalena Pajala vann och Charlotte Kalla slutade på en fjärde plats.
